‘Microbial Storytelling: The interconnection between spatial practices, cultural norms and path of pathogens in hospital environments’, is a cross disciplinary design research and addresses issues of infection prevention control in hospital environments. Through a detailed architecturally informed analysis of transmission risks, the work explores how design might become an educational tool to interrupt or break infection pathways in hospital environments or supports a change of behavior, which brings awareness towards addressing the challenges posed by resistant pathogens.
